In September 2007 the limited release of December Boys in theaters throughout USA and Australia was sure to be a good one. The fans loved his performance and continued to be touched by his wit and charm. Just before the release and promotional tour of December Boys, Daniel filmed another new role in a movie. It was a true story and once again would test the time of how long you can stand it. It was a true story about Rudyard Kipling, author of The Jungle Books, whose son, John ‘Jack’ Kipling is sent off to war. When his some goes missing, Rudyard and Carrie Kipling go on a frantic search for their beloved child, when it comes to the end they find that he had past on the same day he had gone missing. The ITV Film was released in November 2007 in the UK. The release for the US would be April 2008.
