Hogwarts burns down as fire hits ‘Harry Potter’ set

Filming of the latest Harry Potter instalment has come to a halt after a blaze broke out on set. The incident took place when a special effects explosion went wrong during a battle scene for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Although no one was injured, one of the sets used for the series’ iconic Hogwarts Castle was burnt down, leaving an estimated damage cost of £100,000.

The Battle of Hogwarts scenes involve Harry – played by Daniel Radcliffe – raising an army of students to defend the school from an attack by evil wizard Voldemort. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is due to hit sceens in two parts and will be shown in 3D.

ABC Family To Air Deathly Hallows Footage And More

Thanks to DanRadcliffe.Co.Uk, we now know that ABC family will be showing footage from the latest Harry Potter movie and an extended cut of the fifth film.

Also, from the same source, on April 1st and 2nd the Ellen Degeneres Show will play footage of Ellen’s visit to the new Orlando Harry Potter theme park. ( It opens up this year)

Alright, just to let everyone know, I will be updating the gallery with all of the pics that have turned up lately and I will be adding some of the wallpapers back into the Multimedia section.
